Traveling as Couple
This is a slightly tired hotel that badly needs an upgrade. You get the impression that times are tough and there is therefore an extra charge for everything, with no frills. The decor left a bit to be desired, although it was clean. The staff was friendly in a business-like way. Parking is by valet for $20 plus tip to the valet. Breakfast is included, but minimal. We made arrangements at the last minute and stayed here for an extra couple of nights in Waikiki. While there was nothing terrible, we probably would look elsewhere if we return to Waikiki. Traveling as Couple
The only thing we liked was the location, but other then that we did not like anything about the hotel, the gym was a free and a hotel room made into a gym, the pool was so small, I would have called it a tub, the free breakfast was a joke, staff was not friendly. Hotel is quaint and a bit run-down. The fishpond is fabulous. The staff was not even apologetic that they had no free smoothie for us! The free breakfast wasn't all that yummy, but we appreciated it, anyway. ...read more

Family with Young Children
The name Resort quest is quite deceptive as this hotel is nothing close to a resort. But as a regular economy hotel, is pretty good with convenient location.
